Session 6: Share

Tell your Inquiry Story—the story of your experience facilitating the inquiry-based activity. Your story can be told using any digital tool you like—Canva, Google Docs, Google Slides, Sutori (visual storytelling tool with a timeline format), video, or any other web-based tool as long as your Inquiry Story is in the cloud so that you may submit the link.If you worked in a pair, each person needs to develop their own Inquiry Story because you each had a different experience and noticed different things. Your story should include the following:

  1. One paragraph that summarizes the lesson plan
  2. Photograph or scan of the notes you made on the lesson
  3. 2–3 paragraphs that share what happened when you facilitated the activity, including:
    • anything that went particularly well or surprised you
    • “a-has” you witnessed
    • what you would do differently if you were to do this again
  4. 2–3 images that show your learners engaged in the activity
  5. Images of student work (if applicable)
  6. 1 paragraph reflection about what you learned in this course—how inquiry supports STEM learning and what excites you about supporting student inquiry in STEM
  7. If you want to earn a microcredential for your work in this course, add the following files to your Inquiry Story:
    • Infographic (from Session 2)
    • Meme (from Session 4)

Share the link to your story in the course Google+ community.

•  Use category, Story
•  Explore other people’s stories and comment on few to share how much you like them

Note: If you want to earn a microcredential, feel free to revise your Inquiry Story based on the feedback you receive. You’ll submit your Inquiry Story for consideration of a microcredential after the Deep Dive page of this session.
