
Inquiry in the STEM Classroom

Completed Project Tomorrow’s “Inquiry Rocks STEM course” and demonstrated understanding of how inquiry supports STEM learning through the following steps and required submissions:
- Created and shared a simple infographic that shows a step-by-step process with at least four steps that teachers can use when designing inquiry-based lessons.
- Created and shared a meme about the importance of questioning and inquiry.
- Planned and tried out an inquiry lesson activity with a group of learners, and created and shared an Inquiry Story about how it went which included the following elements:
- One paragraph that summarized the lesson plan
- Photograph or scan of notes on the lesson
- 2–3 paragraphs that shared what happened when facilitating the activity, including:
- anything that went particularly well or surprises
- “a-has”
- what to do differently next time
- 2–3 images that showed learners engaged in the activity
- Images of student work (if applicable)
- 1 paragraph reflection about what was learned in the Inquiry Rocks STEM course including how inquiry supports STEM learning and what is exciting about supporting student inquiry in STEM.
