Session 4: F2F Discuss

Try the QFT in your class or with a few people.

    1. Set a timer for 5 minutes and write down as many questions as you can about the QFocus. Don’t stop to discuss, judge, or answer.
    2. Mark each question with an “o” for open-ended or “c” for close-ended.
    3. Change 2 close-ended questions to open-ended. Change 2 open-ended questions to close-ended.
    4. Choose the 3 most important questions and share why you chose them. (5 minutes)

  • How do you see QFT fitting in with inquiry-based learning?
  • How might the teacher of the Fibonacci lesson you explored in Session 3 have used QFT to kick off the exploration? What would have been a good QFocus for him?
